3 Cryptocurrencies To Appear In 2018

Why it may be a good idea to look for the new ones

2018 has not been a very good year for the most cryptocurrencies and for the whole cryptocurrency market itself. All of the tokens and coins made a deep fall. Some of them managed to recover, while others continued their way down. It’s enough to just have a look at the BTC/USDT pair diagram throughout the year:

BTC/USDT chart

A great fall from 16300 to 4600 which HitBTC exchange shows is a real challenge for many traders and cryptocurrency holders. At the moment we cannot say whether the market will continue the bearish tendencies or it will stabilize soon.

A Chance for New Currencies

Yet, there’s always a chance for new ‘players’ to enter the field. In that case, we’d better shift our attention to the upcoming brand new coins. Theoretically, some of these cryptocurrencies may have very good potential and might be interesting for many investors, while the old ones are gradually losing its influence because of outdated technologies and market saturation.

In this article I’d like to present 3 of the new ones: RavenCoin, SureRemit, and GET Protocol.

Ravencoin (RVN)

Ravencoin will be the first cryptocurrency to introduce. It looks like this coin is becoming a significant one. Here’s a number of its unique features:

  • The Ravencoin wasn’t pre-mined;
  • Never held an ICO;
  • Has no CEO and shares the power among the developers;
  • Provides a secure messaging channel where users can communicate;
  • Users also receive dividends.

Today its market cap is $44,358,084.

SureRemit (RMT)

First of all, I’d like to mention that SureRemit is focused on remittance. And it’s well known that it contributes a lot to the economics of many developing countries.

Before SureRemit entered the market, the sending of money orders wasn’t smooth enough as third persons and network problems made the process slow and quite expensive. The costs could rise up to 10% and it would take from one to three days to complete the transaction.

Now it makes 2% of the total amount and it eliminates the middleman figure too. As for the socials, their Twitter is full of mottos and quotes:

Today its market cap is $4,339,233.

GET Protocol ($GET)

GET Protocol is another project which makes a promise to replace third parties with transparent blockchains. The main problem between middlemen is the exchange of different value between two unknown individuals who do not really trust each other. GET Protocol is supposed to enforce trust and perform less risky transactions via its blockchain network.

For you to know, GET here stands for “Guaranteed Entrance Token” and opens smart ticketing protocol for any event. As a result, everyone is satisfied:

  • Participants: enjoy an event with a secure and stress-free ticketing experience;
  • Content-creators: make sure that all the tickets are legally sold as the dynamic QR protects them;
  • Event organizers: the true cost of transactions is prescribed on the blockchain and the protocol increases market efficiency;
  • Venues: an honest experience that promotes a higher occupancy rate and some benefits of clean customer data.

Today its market cap is $2,609,520.

Which one to invest?

As we can see, all 3 cryptos have their own advantages and nuances. All the currencies have good and bad periods as well as rise and fall tendencies. So it’s only up to you to decide what you need most: the most popular and well-known cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum, or riskier but at the same time having good potential cryptocurrencies like Ravencoin, SureRemit or GET Protocol.
