HitBTC withdrawal fees for different currencies
How much it costs to withdraw from HitBTC
Recently I described my experience with trading fees on HitBTC exchange. I shared my thoughts on HitBTC Trading Fees and gave you some calculations to see if it’s profitable to trade there. This time I’d like to focus on HitBTC withdrawal fees only.
It’s a different thing. When your withdraw your funds from your account to a cryptocurrency wallet address, you need to pay fee for this transaction. This fee is different for each currency. Most likely, amount of withdrawal fee is determined by the network fee. HitBTC takes such withdrawal fee which would be enough for withdrawals to be smooth and fast.
HitBTC withdrawal fees for all available cryptocurrencies can be found in your HitBTC account page:
Withdrawal fee is constant for one currency, it doesn’t depend on transaction volume.
Let’s make some calculations again and see what it takes to pay these Hitbtc withdrawal fees. Here are a few examples of my withdrawals.
Recently I’ve withdrawn 34.480 LTC to an empty LTC wallet and with 0.003 LTC withdrawal fees my LTC balance turned out to be 34.477. The sum of withdrawal was quite big, of course. It’s a good thing that withdrawal fee is constant for a currency and fee doesn’t rise when withdrawal volume gets bigger.
Or another case. I withdrawn 1200002 DOGE a couple of weeks ago and paid 2 DOGE withdrawal fee for this transaction. So the sum I received turned out to be 1200000. Not so big difference either. Withdrawal didn’t take too much time. I was quite happy with it.
Hitbtc withdrawal fees compared to other exchanges
Let’s compare Hitbtc withdrawal fees to withdrawal fees on other exchanges. Let’s take some random exchanges, for example, Binance and Bittrex. Below you can see a comparative table of withdrawal fees on these cryptocurrency exchanges.
As we can see from this table, HitBTC withdrawal fees do not differ much from withdrawal fees on other well-known exchanges. For example, BCH withdrawal fees on HitBTC are bigger than on Binance and Bittrex. On the other hand, ETC and STRAT withdrawal fees on HitBTC are smaller than on two other exchanges. In my opinion, withdrawal fees on any of these exchanges are manageable and almost anyone doing cryptocurrency trading on these exchanges most can afford this trifle when he withdraws his funds.
When choosing an exchange, you should take into account different factors as number of currencies available, interface usability, the exchange safety and others. Personally for me it’s most convenient to trade on Hitbtc exchange because of its trading toolkit and the rebate system which I described in my previous article.
